About Us
As a parent, you want your son to grow into a man who is responsible, reliable, giving and dependable. Chartered by the North Lawrence Fish & Game Club of North Lawrence, Ohio, Cub Scout Pack 933 has, for over 33 years, had these same goals for every boy who has participated in our Scouting program. We want to weave the Scouting goals and principles into the fabric of each and every boy in our pack. That’s not something that happens overnight. It takes the dedicated efforts of all of our adult leaders to make things happen. Pack 933 has many such dedicated leaders working directly with the boys.
Why do the boys enjoy Scouting? They join because of all of the fun and exciting things we do as a pack. Events like family camping, hiking, day camp and residence camp, the Memorial Day and Massillon Christmas parades, bowling, and our annual pinewood derby. But that’s not all we do. We also take the time to give back to our community through our annual fall Scouting For Food service project and other small projects around the area.
Through Scouting, the boys learn self-discipline, self-reliance, family values, and how to be a contributing member of society. Many of our boys cross over to Boy Scout Troop 933, also charted by the North Lawrence Fish & Game Club, carrying with them all that they learned while in the pack.
Our pack was recently certified as “Gold Level” for 2012 in Scouting’s Journey to Excellence Program.
If your son would like to be a part of Scouting, we invite you to contact our Cubmaster for more information.
We are also always on the lookout for more parents to volunteer as leaders or to help out with pack activities!
We welcome all boys who want to join the fun of scouting! See you soon…
